How Do I Make Steak Au Poivre?

Here is how you make Steak Au Poivre:

Press peppercorns into both sides of steaks and set aside for 2 hours. After this, saute steaks in Canola Oil on high heat for about a minute or two on each side (depending on thickness of steaks). Remove from heat, and move steaks to a serving platter. Pour off fat and add Smart Balance to pan. Saute shallots until wilted. Add wine and cook until reduced.
