1/2 c. White Flour
1 Envelope Lipton Dry Onion Soup Mix
4 c. Hot Water


How Do I Make HealthierLynn's Swiss Steak?

Here is how you make HealthierLynn's Swiss Steak:

Put the round steak on waxed paper, sprinkle with a little bit of flour and pound with a meat tenderizer a few times on each side. Cut into serving size pieces. Preheat an electric frying pan to 350 degrees and spray with a non-stick cooking spray. Fry each side of the meat until browned. Reduce heat to simmer.Combine the dry onion soup mix with 4 cups of hot water and pour over the meat. Simmer for 2 hours.Remove meat, put it in a casserole dish and put it in the oven (set on low heat).Mix flour and water and use the meat juices to make gravy. Pour over meat and serve.
