Beef Stew meat (1 pkg)
1/2 cup fresh green cabbage (sliced)
1/4 cup fresh leek (sliced)
3 or more garlic cloves (crushed or sliced)
1 lg stalk of celery, sliced
Carrots cleaned and cut or sliced
approx. 3 cups of tap water as base, with your choice of seasonings- I used Garlic/pepper seasonings and salt.
I also add Adolph's tenderizer.

You can add more veggies, or different veggies- depending on what you have available.

Put water in a large potAdd stew meat and place over high heat on stoveChop/slice the cabbage, leeks, garlic and celery and add it to the pot. Allow this mixture to come to a boil and lower to low heat and simmer for a few hours.
