What Are The Ingredients For Noelle's Burgundy Stew Recipe?The ingredients for Noelle's Burgundy Stew are: 1 1lb lean beef roast1 tbsp oregano 2 tbsp rosemary 2 packages dry mushroom gravy mix 2 medium white onions 12 dried shiitake mushrooms, broken into pieces 2/3 (1.5 litre) bottle of burgundy wine 2-3 cups orange juice 1 tbsp butter beef stock as needed How Do I Make Noelle's Burgundy Stew?Here is how you make Noelle's Burgundy Stew: Slice onions and saute with 1 tbsp butter in skillet. Remove onions and set aside. Do not rinse. Trim and cut roast into bite-sized chunks. Season beef with salt and pepper, then fry in the same skillet. When fully browned, set beef aside and drain leavings back into skillet.In skillet with leavings, prepare mushroom gravy mix according to package directions. When just beginning to thicken, add onions, mushrooms, herbs, and beef. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes, then transfer to crock pot. Add red wine, mandarin oranges, orange juice, and beef stock if necessary to finish filling crock pot. (I don't usually, but it depends on the size of your crock pot.) Set on low and cook for 3-5 hours.
