How Do I Make Sausage Cabbage Stew?

Here is how you make Sausage Cabbage Stew:

boil sausages in 12" skillet for 30 minutes, per package instructions. At the same time, in a dutch oven, combine tomato juice, tomato sauce, diced tomatos, chopped onion, chopped cabbage, chicken broth and bay leaves. Bring to a boil on top of stove, then lower heat, cover & simmer.When sausages are cooked thru, move them to a platter to pour the water out of the skillet. Cut sausages into 1/2' pieces, then return to skillet & brown, stirring pieces until they are browned on both sides. Add browned sausages to the big pot/dutch oven with the tomato/cabbage mixture. Sprinkle black pepper to taste, if desired. Continue simmering until cabbage & onion are tender. Makes 10 one-cup servings.
