10 oz. lean ground beef, raw
1 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup grated carrott
1 - 14.5 oz. can stewed tomatoes, chopped
1 - 10.75 gr. Tomato Soup Kaskey brand
1/2 tsp. black pepper or to taste

Here is how you make Candi's Stuffed Green Peppers:

Wash green peppers, cut top off and clean out seeds, cut around stem and leave hole in top of pepper. Combine ground beef, brown rice, onions, grated carrot and about 3 TBS stewed tomatoe chopped. Stuff peppers with meat mixture. Combine rest of stewed tomatoes and tomato soup with 3/4 can water. Put half of soup mixture into bottom of baking pan, place stuffed peppers on top, pour remaining sauce over top. Cover for first 45 min. then uncover and let brown for rest of cooking time.Bake at 375 degrees for about 70 min. or until peppers are tender and meat is cooked.SERVING: 1/2 stuffed pepper with 1/2 cup sauceCOOKING OPTION: Place all items into Crock Pot and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours, or HI for 4-6 hours OR until peppers are tender and meat is cooked.Number of Servings: 6Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user CANDICANDOIT.
