1 med yellow onion (chopped)
2 tsp Mrs. Dash Garlic & Herb Seasoning (to taste)
1 cup Quinoa
1 srvg Beef Flavored Base Soup
8 Whole Bell Peppers


How Do I Make Quinoa Stuffed Bell Peppers?

Here is how you make Quinoa Stuffed Bell Peppers:

Wash bell peppers, place in boiling pot of water to blanch them. Remove and set aside to cool. Once cooled remove the tops and clean out seeds.Cook Quinoa - Place quinoa in beef flavor soup base and cook as directed on package. Set aside.Brown ground sirloin and lean pork sausage together, add seasoning and chopped onions. Cook until onions are soft/translucent. Place meat mixture in a process blender and grind fine. (I prefer this over chunky meat and it mixes well). Mix the cooked quinoa and meat mixture together. Stand up the bell peppers in a baking pan. Add a little water to base of pan (just to steam and keep it moist). Scoop the quinoa/meat mixture into the peppers.
