Here is how you make Ground Turkey Pasty:

brown the turkey and drain, set aside, cook onion and celery till soft, add to turkey, mix. Boil peeled, diced carrots and peeled diced potatoes until soft (about fifteen minutes). Drain, mix into meat and onion mixture. Mix flour, salt, baking powder. Add shortening in small spoonfuls, mix with wire whisk attachment in a stand mixer until it forms the consistency of bread crumbs, add water to make a dough. Cut dough in half. Roll out to 1/8" thickness and line bottom of 13x9" pan. Spoon the turkey and veg mixture into pan. Top with rolled out other half of crust. Bake for 40-50 minutes at 350 F.
