Here is how you make Depression (crazy) Cake with frosting:

Mix dry ingrediants together. I will sometimes sift the cocoa and flour but it's not needed. Make 3 little depressions in the dry goods and seperate the oil, vanilla, and vinegar in each one. Cover with the water and stir together. Scrape into a 13x9 inch pan and bake at 350 for 40 minutes. I normally set the timer for 30 minutes and make my frosting at that time.
