Here is how you make Banana Nut Bread (whole wheat):

Cream the sugars and butter in a large bowl. Add the eggs and bananas and beat well. In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Add this mix to the wet mix and beat well. Add the vanilla and beat again. Mix in the nuts with a spoon (or just sprinkle on top of the bread before baking ) and pour into greased and floured bread pan. Bake at 350 degree oven for 60 minutes or until a butter knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes and loosen sides of bread. Pop the bread out of the pan carefully and continue cooling completely before serving. Serving Size: Makes 12 servings
