In large mixer bowl, combine flour, sugar, flax seed, wheat germ , salt, baking powder and baking soda. Add mashed banana, butter, and milk, Beat on low till blended, then on high for 2 minutes. Add eggs and beat till blended. Stir in nuts. Pour batter into a greased 8x4x2 inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 55 to 60 minutes or till a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. cool for 10 minutes on a wire rack. Remove from the pan; cool thoroughly on a wire rack.
