1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup canola oil
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup fat free plain or vanilla yogurt
2 very ripe bananas, mashed
1/4 cup semisweet mini chocolate chips
1/4 cup chopped unsalted macademia nuts

Here is how you make Banana Chocolate Chip Macadamia Muffins:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Place 12 muffin liners in a muffin pan. Combine the flours, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a medium bowl. Stir to blend, set aside. Combine the sugar and oil in the bowl of an electric mixer, beat until mixed. Add eggs one at a time beating after each addition. Add vanilla extract. Add one third of the reserved flour mix, then one third yogurt, alternating and beating between additions. Repeat until all the dry ingredients and yogurt are incorporated, add bananas, chocolate chips and nuts and stir with a spatula to incorporate. Add batter evenly to muffin cups. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until done.
