Preheat the oven to 400 degrees and butter 12 muffin cups. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the banana, egg, brown sugar, butter and vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together the remaining ingredients except the blueberries. Make a well in the dry mixture, add the liquid ingredients, and stir just until blended. On the last few strokes, fold in the blueberries. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to 375 degrees and bake for another 10 minutes.
