Extra Thick Rolled Oats, 2.5 cup (I use Bob's Red Mill)
Sea salt, 1/2 tsp
Raw Wheat Germ, 1/4 cup (I use Bob's Red MIll)
Ground Flaxseed Meal, 1/4 cup (I use Bob's Red MIll)
Egg Whites, 1/2 cup (I use Egg Beaters Whites)
Vanilla Extract, 1 1/2 tsp
Peanut Butter, 1/3 cup (I use Naturally More---it has flax in it and has a few less calories)
Pure Maple Syrup, 1/3 cup
Cinnamon, ground, .1/2 tsp (more or less to taste)
Splenda Granulated, 1/2 cup
Banana, fresh, 4 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)
Original Silk Light, 2 cup


How Do I Make TK's Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal?

Here is how you make TK's Peanut Butter and Banana Oatmeal:

Bring water and salt to a boil. Add oatmeal and simmer over low heat for 12-15 minutes. While oatmeal is cooking, prepare other ingredients. When oatmeal is cooked to your liking, add flaxseed meal, wheat germ, peanut butter, maple syrup, Splenda, vanilla extract, egg whites, and cinnamon. Cover for about five minutes, I immediately divide mine into eight equal servings in food storage containers. Serve with 1/2 of a banana, sliced, and 1/4 cup (more or less if you like) soy milk. If you want to reduce calories, you could leave out the banana (54 cal) and/or the soy milk (15 cal), and/or maple syrup (45cal). ps.
