White flour, 4 cups
Cardamon, 6 ground seeds or 4 tsp


How Do I Make Cardamon Bread?

Here is how you make Cardamon Bread:

Add 1/3 cup of warm water to yeast in a separate bowl and allow yeast to proof. In a medium saucepan on med-low heat, combine butter, milk and sugar until sugar is fully dissolved and butter is melted. Allow to cool slightly.In a large mixing bowl, beat eggs with salt and cardamon. Add contents of saucepan and yeast and mix. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time until a ball of dough forms. Turn out onto a floured surface and knead 15-20 minutes, adding flour as needed.Grease a large bowl and allow dough to rise covered for 45-60 minutes. Divide dough and lightly knead dough into oblongs. Grease two large loaf pans and allow to rise in the pan for 30 minutes or until doubled.
