1 large egg
2 medium bananas mashed
3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup margarine or buttery spread of your choice
just shy 1/2 cup sugar
just shy 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup wheat flour
1 cup white flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 to 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips to taste


How Do I Make Breakfast Brownies?

Here is how you make Breakfast Brownies:

Heat oven to 375, spray 9 X 13 glass dish with cooking spray. Stir all wet ingredients together until blended then add sugars and mix. In another bowl combine flour, baking soda and alt, then add to wet bowl, stir to combine. Mix in chocolate chips to taste. If batter seems too dry add 1 to 4 tablespoons of nonfat milk, too wet add 1 to 4 tablespoons of flour. Batter should be thicker than a cake batter, but not as thick as a cookie batter. Bake for 20-25 min until golden on sides. let cool at least 15 min on wire rack before slicing. Store in refrigerator. Serve cold or warm it up in microwave.
