What Are The Ingredients For Sausage and Egg Burritos Recipe? The ingredients for Sausage and Egg Burritos are: 8 oz Ground Turkey Sausage2 t Olive Oil 1/2-1 C Chopped Onions 1/2 Green Bell Pepper Chopped 1 C fresh spinach chopped to med size 1 t Minced Garlic 1/2 med Tomato chopped 1 C Egg Substitute How Do I Make Sausage and Egg Burritos? Here is how you make Sausage and Egg Burritos: Place turkey sausage in skillet and brown. Put to side on paper towel to remove any additional grease. (Turkey sausage usually has very little grease anyway, but might as well get everything out that you can)Place olive oil in hot skillet and add garlic, onion and green pepper. Cook just long enough to soften a bit, but do not over cook. Place spinach in skillet and cook long enough that the spinach has wilted. Add sausage back to mixture and then add egg substitute. Make sure to cook this on low to med once you put in the egg substitute(it burns to bottom of pan quickly) Once eggs have fluffed up then add tomatoes that have been placed on a papertowel to rid excess moisture. If you do not remove excess moisture from tomatoes, it will leave your eggs very runny. (Which I do not prefer)Feel free to add some red pepper seasoning, chili powder or black pepper to taste.I served these with those spices on tortillas with a little bit of cheddar cheese, sour cream and hot sauce for a mexican breakfast burrito. Very yum! (Make sure to add your optional items along with this recipe. My recipe doesn't include those in the nutritional facts.)Enjoy!Number of Servings: 5Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user EPHSTOP43.What's The Nutritional Info For Sausage and Egg Burritos? The nutritional information for Sausage and Egg Burritos is:
