one 32-oz bag Bob's Red Mill Extra Thick Rolled Oats
3 c almonds, sliced
1/2 c flaxseed, whole
2 tbsp ground cinnamon
2/3 c canola oil
2/3 c southwest desert honey
1 tbsp vanilla extract
1 c unsweetened coconut flakes


How Do I Make JoAnn's granola?

Here is how you make JoAnn's granola:

Preheat oven to 325 oF convection setting (in our oven).Combine oats, almonds, flaxseed, cinnamon in large roasting pan (large size Aga pan works great). Combine oil and honey in small saucepan and heat on stovetop until oil and honey warm enough to mix well, remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour liquids over dry ingredients. Place in oven. Stir every 10 minutes. When finished, turn off oven, but leave pan in oven, sprinkle coconut flakes over top of granola mixture and allow coconut flakes to toast as oven cools.
