Here is how you make Mona's Homemade Granola:

Place dates & walnuts in blender. Add hot water, honey, vanilla, salt, cinnamon, wheat bran & flax. Blend til smooth. Place oats, coconut & almonds in large bowl. Add blended mix to oats & gently mix together with wooden spoon until oats are evenly coated. Place in large cake pans or cookie sheets. Keep it light & airy - DO NOT pack. Place pans in oven @ 225 for about 2 hrs.
