1.5 c 1% milk
1 T white vinegar
2 tsp baking soda

1 cup whole wheat flour

1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 c flaxmeal
1/2 c wheat germ
1 tsp salt
4 tsp baking powder

How Do I Make Very Berry Muffins?

Here is how you make Very Berry Muffins:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.In small bowl mix yogurt, milk, vinegar, and baking soda together and let sit while you mix the dry ingredients. Next mix together in large bowl flours, sugar, oats, flax, wheat germ, salt, & baking powder. In medium bowl beat eggs, then add oil and vanilla. Add yogurt mixture to egg mixture and stir gently. Now add the egg/yogurt mix to the dry ingredients along with the berries and stir gently until just combined. Fill muffin cups about 2/3 full and bake for 20-25 minutes until golden.Makes about 27 muffins.Number of Servings: 27Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user MINIMINIV.
