Makes 14 larger sized muffins - tins filled 3/4 or moreBake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes. (For smaller muffins, bake 20-25 minutes.)I've doubled a standard muffin recipe so I can include ground flax seed (meal). I ground my seeds fresh but you can find it already ground.Ground flax seed has a nutty flavor and can be exchanged for white flour in equal amounts. HOWEVER:IMPORTANT! MAKE SURE TO MEASURE FLAX LOOSELY - NOT PRESSED! It is very dense and will cause a baked good that is TOO DENSE if you're not careful.There are different types of Flax Seed and from what I understand, differences are primarily in flavory.
