Here is how you make Maple Oat Bran Muffins:

Heat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Line 12 medium muffin cups with paper baking cups or spray bottoms only with non-stick cooking spray. Combine dry ingredients; mix well. In a separate bowl, combine milk, egg, syrup, flavor and oil; stir into dry ingredients and mix until just moistened. Add apple and walnuts to batter, mix to combine. Divide evenly between 12 muffin cups, filling about 3/4 full. Bake 15 - 17 minutes until golden brown.
