1 1/2 tsp baking powder

Here is how you make Pear yogurt muffins:

Preheat oven to 400. Spray muffin tins with nonstick spray. Dice pears. In a large bowl, combine flours, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well. In a smaller bowl or a measuring cup (2 cup works well) combine yogurt, egg, applesauce and lemon peel. Mix well. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until just moistened.
