2 T baking powder
1 T granulated sugar
1 T Splenda
2 tsp salt

1/2 cup cold low fat buttermilk
1/2 cup maple syrup
4 large eggs, lightly beaten

1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
1.2 cup maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla

Here is how you make Maple Oatmeal Scones:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In large bowl, combine flour, oats, baking powder, sugar, splenda, and salt. Cut in cold margarine. Combine buttermilk, syrup, and eggs and then add to the flour and butter mixture. Mix until blended. Dough will be sticky. Spoon into generously greased scone pan. Tops of scones may be brushed with egg wash and milk mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes until tops are crisp and just begin to turn golden.
