This is a very hearty, high protein, healthy, and delicious waffle recipe. My 2 year old daughter just loves them. This recipe makes about 3 waffles, but you can add more milk to thin out the batter to make more less dense waffles. I used whole milk in my recipe which can easily be substituted for lower fat milk. I also used a vanilla flavored whey protein powder which adds great flavor and a bit of sweetness to the waffles especially with the cinnamon. This recipe could also be used to make pancakes too.
