1 Tbsp Granulated Sugar (I like to use Mango Flavored)
2 tsp Baking Powder
1 Large Egg
1 cup Buttermilk


How Do I Make Whole Wheat Flax Pancakes?

Here is how you make Whole Wheat Flax Pancakes:

Mix dry ingredients together. Add the Flax Meal to the buttermilk and microwave on high for one and a half minutes or until steaming, stir, and allow to cool until slightly warm to the touch. add the beaten egg and the oil to the dry ingredients as well as the buttermilk/flax mixture and stir until combined. I use this recipe to make 4 fairly large pancakes by using a half cup measuring cup to drop the batter into the pan and spreading it out slightly. You can also use this recipe to make smaller pancakes by either using a quarter cup measuring cup or a large tablespoon.Serving Size: makes 4 large pancakes or 16 medium sized pancakes.Number of Servings: 1Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user ENEGUE91.
