You need to soak the rice at least for 4 hours and then grind to make a paste. When soaking the rice add 1 tsp of fenugreek seeds in them so that it is soaked too. After grinding, keep the batter out overnight (if the batter was made at night) or for about 5/6 hours. To make dosa, take one ladle of the batter and pour it on a hot tawa. Add 1 tsp of oil. Fry till it is brown change the side and the let the other side fry. Add less than 1 tsp of oil.
