This is a true breakfast shake. The calories look like a lot at first, but this is a complete and healthy meal to fill you up and take you through to lunch with absolutely no cravings or snacking. What Are The Ingredients For Hefty Healthy Shake Recipe?The ingredients for Hefty Healthy Shake are: Ingredients:1/2 cup of Quaker old fashioned oats since I have never had any adverse reaction to them. If you have simply switch them out for something you know to be 100% gluten-free. (You can cook these first but I prefer to have them in the shake raw for a little texture.) 1/2 cup of non fat vanilla yogurt. I use the Fred Meyer store brand. 1/2 a banana. 1/4 cup of raisins or mixed berries, whichever you prefer. 1/2 cup of 1% milk. (You can switch it for skimmed milk for fewer calories.) 1/2 cup water. Start out by grinding the oats in the blended, When they are like a rough flour, add in the milk followed by the raisins, then the banana and eventually the yogurt. Finally, add 1/2 to 1 full cup of water to get the shake to the desired consistency. If you prefer a very chilled shake you can also add some ice with the yogurt. This is fast to make and can be taken on the go though I like to enjoy it while listening to NPR so I can start my day off relaxed.
