Here is how you make Tea Scones:

Soak raisins, in enough water to cover them, overnight. Combine flour, baking soda and cream of tarter in a large bowl. Work in softened butter with your hands. Add Sugar. Add raisins. Add enough water, a little at a time, just until dough holds together enough to make patties. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes.
