8 oz. (2 links) Jennie-O Lean Hot Italian Turkey Sausage
3 Large Eggs + 5 Egg Whites, whisked
3 oz. Low-Fat Cheddar or Colby Cheese, finely shredded
4 La Tortilla Factory Large Low-Carb Tortillas (80 cal. each)
1 Medium Bell Pepper, chopped
1 Medium Onion, chopped
3 Cloves Garlic, minced
3 tsp. Lawry's Taco Seasoning
1.3 C. Salsa (to top)
1/2 C. Nonfat Sour Cream (to top)


How Do I Make Turkey Breakfast Burritos?

Here is how you make Turkey Breakfast Burritos:

1) Prep ingredients. 2) Heat two non-stick skillets on medium-high. 3) In the first skillet, squeeze the italian sausage out of the casings and into the pan. Separate and spread evenly. 4) In the second skillet, add the onions, garlic and peppers.5) Cook the meat until browned and remove from heat.6) Cook the peppers and onions until soft and the onions are translucent (if freezing burritos, slightly undercook the vegetables).7) Add the onions and peppers to the beef and stir in the taco seasoning. Set aside.8) In the hot pan that had the peppers, add the eggs and scramble them.9) Warm the tortillas in the microwave for 15 seconds to soften.10) Sprinkle a quarter of the cheese in the center of each tortilla, place a quarter of the eggs and a quarter of the meat and peppers mixture on top of that careful to keep all ingredients in the center. 11) Fold in two sides of the tortillas over the mixture and roll into a burrito.12) If serving immediately, plate and top with 2 tbs. non-fat sour cream and a 1/3 cup salsa. If freezing, roll in saran wrap.
