Pre-heat oven to 150C.Sieve together the flour and baking powder, and stir in the sugar and bran. Lightly whisk the milk and egg and combine with the flour (but don't over-work it). Fold in the hazelnuts and pour in a large loaf tin lined with greaseproof paper.
