Here is how you make Mom's French Toast:

In a shallow bowl or container beat an egg. Add the milk, sugar and salt, continue to beat. When everything is well mixed together, drop the slices of bread (one at a time) into the mixture. Flip the slice of bread over so that both sides are coated, then place into a frying pan. (Repeat for the rest of the slices of bread). When the first side is nicely browned, flip it over & brown the other side.
