Here is how you make pumpkin roll:

Combine flour, baking powder, salt, spice; set aside. Beat egg yolks on high for 5 minutes, add sugar & vanilla, beat in pumpkin. In a separate bowl beat egg whites until soft peaks & add sugar, beat to stiff peaks. Fold yolk mixture into egg white mixture. Then fold flour mix into egg mix. Spread into a greased & floured 10x15 jelly roll/cookie sheet pan. Bake 15 min at 375 degrees. Sprinkle confectioner sugar onto a clean dish towel & turn cake onto towel & roll up & cool on a wire rack for 2 hours. Unroll cake & spread filling, then roll back up & refrigerate until ready to serve.
