How Do I Make Gluten Free Almond Applecake?

Here is how you make Gluten Free Almond Applecake:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Reserve 1/2 C processed fine almonds and 6 T turbinado sugar for the topping. Blend together the liquid ingredients. Add the powdered ingredients and mix well. I use a hand held blender so the almonds and hemp seed hearts process fine to avoid a gritty cake texture. Place oven proof baking dish in the hot oven with 4T butter. When butter is hot, place sliced & cored apple pieces (skin on) and ginger honey tea into the butter and stir. Pour batter over top. Sprinkle with reserved half cup of almonds, 2 T turbinado sugar and some vanilla powder (optional). Bake for 45-55 minutes. Baking time depends on size and depth of baking dish. I used a 10-inch round, 2-inch deep stoneware pie pan. Bake until tooth pick tests clean.Serving Size:?24 servings
