1.50 tsp Baking Soda
0.75 cup, unpacked Brown Sugar
0.50 cup Granulated Sugar
1 tsp Almond Extract
1 tsp Anise Oil Extract
5 cup Chocolate, Nestle Real Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
2.50 cup Flour - Gold medal all purpose flour
0.5 cup Olive Oil

Here is how you make Almond, Anise and Olive Oil Biscotti:

Toast almonds until golden brown and let cool thoroughly. Crush and toast anise seeds in dry pan until fragrant. Mix together flour, sugars, aniseseed, baking powder and salt. In separate bowl beat eggs, extracts and olive oil until really well mixed. Fold by hand with a spoon into flour mixture. Mix just til incorporated and add almonds, mixing again, lightly. Using a spoon, place on parchment paper, making three logs. The dough is really sticky. Sprinkle lightly with additional granulated sugar. Bake at 350 for about 25 minutes. Let cool 15 minutes and slice. Bake again for about 10 to 15 minutes. Let cool, drizzle lightly with melted chocolate chips.Serving Size:?Makes 60 small pieces
