8 tbsp Half and Half Cream
5 tsp packed Brown Sugar
1 tsp Lemon Juice 'Real Lemon' 100% juice
.25 tsp Nutmeg, ground
2 serving Apple, Gala (medium)
2 serving Land O Lakes, Light Butter, Salted, 1 Tbsp

How Do I Make Cherry Apple Buckle?

Here is how you make Cherry Apple Buckle:

Toast sliced almonds in a non-stick pan (careful not to burn). Put in a small bowl in the freezer to cool. In a small food processor, add the oats, brown sugar, cold butter, breadcrumbs and cooled toasted almonds. Chop in the food processor until desired texture. Put back in small bowl and into the freezer while you fix the fruit so the butter doesn't melt. Peel and slice the apple. Combine with cherries, applesauce, vanilla, lemon juice, cinnamon and nutmeg. Transfer to an 8x8 baking dish that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. Sprinkle the topping evenly over the fruit and bake at 375 for 25 min. or until the top starts to turn color and fruit begins to bubble.
