1 - Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Rinse and cut apples, and set aside. 2 - In a large mixing bowl, stir together half of the brown sugar (1/2 cup), 2 Tbsp of the flour and the spices. Add the apples, and mix well. 3 - Spray a 9 inch baking dish with cooking spray, and pour into it the apple mixture. Spread evenly. 4 - In the same mixing bowl, add the oats, remaining flour and sugar, as well as the butter. Mix with hands until mixture is crumbly and butter is pea-sized. Spread oat mixture evenly over the apples.5 - Bake uncovered for about 40 minutes, or until top is browned and mixture is bubbly.
