How Do I Make Debbie's Light Apple Crisp?

Here is how you make Debbie's Light Apple Crisp:

1. Preheat oven to 3752. Spray either 4 large soup crocks or 1 8" square baking pan and set aside3. Peel and dice the apples and place into 4 sprayed crocks or 8" cake pan4. Lightly dust apples with your favorite sweetener...go easy here!!!!!5. Sprinkle with the cinnamon. I'm pretty heavy handed when it comes to cinnamon6. Microwave apple mixture on high for 3 minutes. Uncovered is sufficient (this step give the apples a head start so you won't have to wait as long to eat the finished product, haha!)ASSEMBLE THE TOPPING: 1. In a 2-cup measuring cup or other glass or ceramic mug, place the topping ingredients2. Using a butter knife, cut through the topping mixture until it becomes mixed but crumbly 3. Sprinkle the topping over the apples, dividing accordingly if using separate crocks4. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 30 minutes or until the topping is slightly *browned and crumbly5. Cool slightly and enjoy!!!! For an extra treat, top with a scoop of low fat vanilla ice cream but don't forget to account for it!!!!*Note: This will not brown much because you're not using real butter but it does get somewhat crispy.Serving Size:?Makes 4 servingsNumber of Servings: 4Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user CRE8IVDEB.
