Here is how you make Apple Dumplings:

Preheat oven to 375Peel, core and chop apples into large mixing bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, salt and flour. Add apple juice and toss to coat. Set aside to season.In medium bowl, mix together flour and salt. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Add water and mix into a soft dough. Divide crust into 8 parts and roll out one at a time into 6 inch circles. Place 1/3-1/2 cup of filling in the middle of each crust and pinch into a bundle. Place in a greased 9x13 cake pan.
