Here is how you make Rustic Apple Tart:

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add sugars and cook two minutes until sugar dissolves. Stir in apple slices and next three ingredients. Cover, reduce heat, and cook 20 minutes until apples are tender. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.Preheat oven to 400 F. Set oven rack to lowest third of oven.Place dough on parchment paper on baking sheet and roll dough to 14 inch circle. Arrange apples in center of the dough, leaving a 2-inch border all around. Fold edges toward center, pressing gently to seal (dough will only cover apples partially - the center will not be covered). Brush dough with ice water and then sprinkle with granulated sugar.
