1/2 Cup Splenda Brown Sugar Blend
1 Egg, Large, fresh
1 Tbsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Skim Milk
1 Tsp Lemon Juice
2 Tbsp Canola Oil
1/2 Cup Applesauce, unsweetened
1/4 Cup Chopped Pecans, optional
1/4 Cup Chopped Walnuts, optional

How Do I Make Bab's Low Fat Banana Bread?

Here is how you make Bab's Low Fat Banana Bread:

Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.In a 2 qt mixing bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Using a whisk, blend well. Set aside.In a 1 qt mixing bowl, combine milk and lemon juice. (you can substitute low fat buttermilk, if you wish). Beat egg slightly and add to milk, along with oil.Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients. Add liquid ingredients all at once; whisk until smooth. Add bananas, applesauce and brown sugar, whisk just until incorporated. Stir in chopped nuts, if desired.Prepare two 8" X 3.5" foil baking pans with a light coating of cooking spray. Divide batter evenly into both pans.Bake at 350 degrees or 50-60 minutes or until bread springs back when lightly touched in center. Let cool on cooling rack completely before cutting into 1" pieces.
