1/3 cup sour cream

Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in bowl; stir with whisk. Cream butter and sugars with electric mixer at medium speed for 1 minute. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. In another bowl, combine mashed banana (do this first with fork in bowl) , sour cream, and vanilla extract--beat until blended. Stir the creamed butter/sugar into the banana-sour cream-vanilla extract mixture with spatula.Add flour mixture, beating at low speed until just moistened. Pour batter into greased 9x5 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour (you may do the toothpick test, my grandma never did). Cool baking pan 10 minutes on cooling rack, turn over to release bread, and cool completely on rack.Serving Size:?Makes 10 slices
