Mix dry ingredients in a bowl.Melt butter in a mixing bowl on low heat.Carefully work in dry ingredients into butter, add egg and bananas and mix well. Bake in a greased, wax paper- lined loaf pan 350F for at least an hour. Check with a toothpick, it should come out clean. Try to let it cool a moment before you dig in for that first warm, delicious, slice. My friends at work love this so for parties I slice it thin then slice those in half and arrange on a serving tray so everyone can get a piece.
