Preheat oven to 350 degrees.Line 18 muffin cups w/paper liners.In medium bowl, combine flour, baking powder, & baking soda.In large bowl, with an electric mixer on medium speed, beat the sugar, applesauce, eggs & oil until frothy.With the mixer at low speed, alternately add bananas & buttermilk with the flour mixture; until just combined (don't over mix).Fold in chocolate chips.Spoon batter into the cups, filling each about 2/3 full.Bake until golden & a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, 20-25 minutes.Remove from the cups & cool completely on a rack.Number of Servings: 18Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user SUZ806.
