Here?s what you do:Preheat your oven to 350?F (180?C / gas mark 6).Rinse berries; if using cherries, remove pits. Put butter in pan and put in the oven to melt.Meanwhile, whisk together the 4 eggs, add sugar and mix together.Remove pan from oven and add cherries, return pan to oven for 5 minutes.Add flour and milk alternatively to the egg mixture, blending well between eachaddition.Remove pan with cherries from oven. Swirl to coat sides with butter/cherry mixture.Pour batter on top, don?t stir. Bake 30-40 minutes until puffed up, quite solid, and quitebrown on top.
