Preheat oven to 350. Mix eggs, milk, karo, vanilla. Then add bread with hands gently toss the bread in the mixture. Add apples and raisins and gently toss till all is mixed. Let sit for 15 minutes. Butter the sides of a 1 1/2 quart dish. You can also cover and refrigerate overnight for convenience in the morning. Cook for 30 minutes covered.
