How Do I Make Bread Pudding using up w/ Leftover Baguettes/Bread?

Here is how you make Bread Pudding using up w/ Leftover Baguettes/Bread:

Pull apart bread-no need to slice it (bread can be a day or two old.) Make each piece approx 1 to 1.5 inches squared. Spread evenly in layer along bottom of large casserole dish that has been sprayed with nonstick spray. Shake raisins/cherries/other dried fruit of your choice neatly and distribute equally across pudding. Shake sugar equally and reserve about 1 tbsp for top.Mix "wet" ingredients--eggs, milk, whiskey, vanilla and mix in cinnamon. Beat lightly for 1-2 minutes. Pour over pudding. Use a spoon to submerge bread under liquid/soften bread. Finally, sprinkle leftover sugar evenly over top of pudding.Place in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 45-60 minutes. You will know it's done when it springs back when lightly touched on top and a knife comes out cleanly from the middle of the pudding. You may allow to cool and keep in refrigerator for up to 2 days. I don't recommend keeping it longer. Serving Size: Makes 8-10 filling servings or more smaller servingsNumber of Servings: 8Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user JENNCALI.
