Crust: Pulse flour, salt, flax seed and salt in a food processor, until it holds together lightly. Place in a bowl, and mix with water 1 tbsp at a time until dough just holds together. Let rest 5 minutes, then roll out.Bake crust at 350 in a tart pan (weighted down) for 15 minutes.Pulse almonds and dates together in a food processor until the almonds are chopped; add the bread crumbs (I usually just put a few slices of bread in the food processor first, and set crumbs aside until this stage), honey, jam, and ginger, and pulse until everything is well-combined and holds together when pressed.Once the crush cools, press the filling mixture into the crust, and bake for 30 minutes at 325 - just to set everything and warm it through.Serving Size: Makes 8 slicesNumber of Servings: 8Recipe submitted by SparkPeople user PHANTOMPOE.
