How Do I Make Scandinavian Almond Cake?

Here is how you make Scandinavian Almond Cake:

Beat sugar, egg, almond extract, and milk together. Then mix in flour and baking powder. Finally, add one stick of melted butter. Pour into well greased pan (I line mine with aluminum foil) and bake at 350 degrees for 40 - 50 minutes. (I bake for 40 minutes and then cover with foil to prevent further browning for the last 10 minutes. After inverting onto serving dish, garnish with sliced almonds and dust with powdered sugar.
