What Are The Ingredients For Apple Dabble Cake Recipe?

The ingredients for Apple Dabble Cake are:

2 C white sugar ? you can reduce it if you like
1 C canola oil ( I use 1 Cup to 1 1/4cup of apple sauce & 1/4 C oil)
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 C whole wheat flour ( you can use 2 1/2 c white or whole wheat flour & 1/2 C of bran)
1 tsp salt
3 tsp cinnamon or more ? however you like it
4 C raw apples, some chopped finely, some chunks. I add extra apples

1. Mix the ingredients by hand in the order given.

2. Pour into a 13 x 9 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes OR until tester in middle comes out relatively clean.

3. Just before the cake is ready to come out, in a saucepan combine 1 Cup of brown sugar, ? Cup milk and ? Cup or butter or margarine. (I do also like to add a touch of apple sauce to this mixture to add an applely flavour, but you don?t have to)
Boil for 4 minutes. Pour over baked cake and return to oven for a few more minutes, until topping bubbles. Serve hot, with ice cream if desired
